Hot Tools Cordless Flat Iron
This straightener works well. I bought this because of the dual voltage and the compact size. It works well in any voltage. I've used it in Europe and the US, with seamless transition. It's quite small and comes with a travel bag. Its cordlessness is an added bonus. No more am I tied to the bathroom if the phone rings. It's quite handy.
The actual opening is smaller than normal straighteners, but I haven't noticed a problem, just different from what I am used to. The actual iron part is the same size as any other straightener. The battery is quite amazing. It lasts for a really long time. I've straightened my hair, traveled for two weeks (not charging it), straightened my hair again and it was still hot enough and lasted for the hour it takes to straighten my shoulder length hair. It comes with an extra battery, but I have yet to use it.
The stand is a nice addition and keeps the counter tidy. The stand has little suction cups on the bottom, which is surprisingly helpful. I have yet to try the car charger, so I'm not sure how that works.
My only caveat is the heat setting default. The default is the medium setting (not hot enough for my tight curls hair). I wish I could change the default.
All in all, I love this straightener for its travelability (dual voltage, compactness and cordlessness). I recommend it very highly.
